Accommodations

Kings Canyon Hotel is the oasis in the outback for those who would rather explore the area from a comfortable base. Retreat to the resort after an active day of hiking through the rugged terrain of the Watarrka National Park.

Our signature restaurant, Desert Oaks Bistro, serves a selection of light meals, beverages and snacks in a relaxed outback setting. Naturally, the Thirsty Dingo Bar is always popular for a cool beverage after your day out at the canyon.

Of course, the one thing you must not miss is the romantic ‘Under a Desert Moon’ experience - an intimate dinner of fine Australian food and wines under a canopy of stars (seasonal). For a complete indulgence, enjoy one of our Deluxe Spa Rooms overlooking a rocky escarpment.

Your stay will be one of the highlights of your trip to the Red Centre of Australia, with nearby icons such as Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta.

The spirit of the outback is alive and well at Kings Canyon Holiday Park Caravan Park & Campground. It’s a friendly place, a relaxed place and a place to catch up with fellow travellers and trade stories at the end of the day.

Families, backpackers and Grey Nomads alike are  catered to. Aside from outstanding views to the canyon range, you’ll also have all the amenities you need including motor-home sites (powered and non-powered sites), as well as grassy tent areas. A dump point for caravans and motor-homes is available.

Backpackers can enjoy serviced lodge accommodations with shared bathrooms and a communal kitchen. There's also a picturesque swimming pool and children's playground.

Of course, all travellers need supplies and you’ll find everything you need (including fuel, gas and ice) at our Outback Oasis General Store. Enjoy!
