Highlight of our trip.

Kings Canyon was the highlight of our trip to Central Australia. The rim walk was just awesome, so many things to see in such a small area. The staff were so pleasant & so helpful when we broke down out from the Canyon. We can't thank them enough.

The Highlight of our Trip

Hi, I just wanted to thank Pan and the chefs at the Under a Desert Moon tour for providing us with the highlight of our trip to the Northern Territory. The incredible food and wine was only surpassed by the amazing atmosphere that we enjoyed. I would HIGHLY recommend this dining experience
to anyone visiting Kings Canyon.

Well worth a visit

Kings Canyon is like Uluru without the hordes of tourists. Loved the rim walk especially. We stayed an extra night at the resort to do the 'Sounds Of Firelight' dinner (which was amazing) and visited Kings Creek Station the next day. Aside from the really long 'safety briefing' the quad safari is fantastic.

Sensational site in the red heart of Australia

Kings Canyon is an amazing natural phenomenon in the middle of Australia. On a clear day, the canyon sticks out of the earth and is distinctive enough to be seen from Uluru. The early morning walk around the rim of the canyon is a fantastic and humbling experience is it brings home how ancient this land truly is. The Kings Canyon resport was a fabulous place to base ourselves as we toured the canyon and other sites such as Ormiston Gorge and Tnorala (site of comet hitting the earth millions of years ago). The rooms were truly luxurious and just what was needed after a day in the desert. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was great. The staff were also knowledgable about the area and could make recommendations about things to see plus explain all the natural phenomena inlcuding wildlife. I would recommend anybody to stay here.

The best hike and most memorable dinner of our Aussie trip

This was a great one night stay for us between Alice and Uluru. My husband and I hiked Kings Canyon before staying the night at this lodge. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. Do not miss the "Sounds of Firelight" Dinner at this place, it is a wonderful meal, I can not recommend it enough! Wine with every one of the five courses, surrounded by beatiful velvet blue sky, eucalyptus trees, and firelight. A maximum of 5 couples are at the dinner every night, which leads to great conversation and a very intimate setting. A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary!
