Join a guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon . There are two popular walks at Kings Canyon. The the 6 km Kings Canyon - Rim Walk and the 2.6 km Kings Creek Walk which traces the bottom of the gorge.
The Rim Walk begins with a challenging 500-step climb. Upon reaching the summit marvel at the breathtaking views of Watarrka National Park and into the canyon itself before descending into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden'. The Rim Walk is a strenuous and exposed walk, only suitable for those of above average fitness. This means; people who are in good health, lead an active life, play sport or walk on a regular basis. The walk will take around 3 and a half hours to complete.
Alternatively you may wish to explore the canyon floor, an easier shady walk that follows a trail between the two sheer walls of the canyon.
The Kings Creek Walk meanders up the centre of the canyon to a lookout point on the left hand side of the valley, which affords a view of the sheer cliff face at the end of the canyon. This walk is suitable for all ages and requires only a moderate level of fitness.

Cancellation within 1-6 days of touring, incurs a 50% cancellation fee.
All tours operated by Voyages must have a credit card as a guarantee of payment.
All other tour reservations must be pre-paid prior to arrival at Kings Canyon Resort and travel vouchers will be provided. Pre-payment can be made by credit card, direct deposit or cheque.
All credit card payments made at the resort incur a transaction fee of 1%. Payment can be made by EFTPOS which does not attract a transaction fee.
